Resolved IT was contacted by an IT Manager on a Friday afternoon at 4:30PM. The business had been affected by ransomware, 250+ computers and 30+ virtual servers were totally locked and unusable. Employee productivity was ground to a halt. Resolved IT presented this business with a proposal based on an hourly rate and went to work right away. Two technicians worked a combined 30 hours over the weekend and were able to completely wipe and restore all computers to a usable state, restore all data back to servers, deploy anti-encryption and anti-malware software, deploy e-mail spam and malware/phishing filtering, deploy new hardware firewalls to several locations, and identify where the attack originated from. Over the course of a weekend the team at Resolved IT performed a zero-downtime file system migration to the cloud, implemented a hardware firewall in the head office, and deployed anti-virus to each computer.
